LOVE AND RELIGION WORKSHOP:
Being part of an interfaith couple can be challenging, but you don't need to find the answers alone. Our four week “Love and Religion” workshop offers a safe environment to work on creating your religious lives together and to talk with other couples facing similar questions. It is intended for seriously dating, engaged and newly married interfaith couples to talk about how to have religious traditions in their lives together.

What participants have said about our Love and Religion workshop:
[I really appreciated] hearing perspectives from other couples and knowing that my fiance and I are not alone and that our issues are not necessarily unique.
It was great to hear peers’ perspectives and experience regarding interfaith relationships. [This] was the first time we spoke to other people going through the same thing.
[We] are so glad we did the Love and Religion workshop. We truly enjoyed every class and … it really opened up many great conversations since doing the classes. We've been able to talk more about our future and what our hopes are!
A TASTE OF MUSSAR:
Mussar is a Jewish path of character development and spiritual growth leading to awareness, wisdom and transformation. Mussar provides guidance in identifying your uniquely personal path of spiritual growth and offers practices to help bring about that growth. You certainly don’t need to be Jewish to study and practice Mussar. Couples are encouraged to participate in the “Taste of Mussar” program together, but if only one partner (regardless of their religion) is available or wants to participate, they are welcome to join the class. “A Taste of Mussar” will be offered on four Monday evenings, March 6, 13 and 20 and April 3 (no class on March 27) from 7:00-8:30 pm at Tribe Commons (201 S. Camac Street, 2nd Floor) in Center City. To register for this event, click here.
OTHER OPPORTUNITIES FOR INTERFAITH COUPLES:
Challah and Conversation:
Do you want to learn how to make Challah? Join us to make and knead our own dough, and while it’s rising so we can braid it, we can talk about what it’s like to be in an interfaith relationship and/or learn about Shabbat. Best of all, you’ll have a delicious challah to take home and bake for Friday night dinner!
Cocktails and Conversation:
This program provides a great opportunity to meet with other interfaith couples in a private room at a bar, restaurant, or a local attraction. We have cocktails and hors d’oeuvres while engaging in fun, meaningful conversation about aspects of being in an interfaith relationship.
Shabbat Dinners for Interfaith Couples:
Let us know if you’re interested in joining us for a Shabbat dinner with other interfaith couples hosted by InterfaithFamily.
If you are interested in any of the above opportunities, contact us at Philadelphia@interfaithfamily.com
