TUESDAYS are an auspicious day because the Torahis not read in the synagogue??

It’s not read on wednesdays, fridays or sundays either.

The reason Tuesdays are auspicious for ALL occasions, is because when G-d created the world, it is written that G-d saw all that He had done, and it was good. On tuesday, the third day of creation, that phrase is repeated twice,
So Tuesday is a day of double good…making it auspicious for all occasions.

Many Jewish weddings, including Orthodox, are held on thursday evenings. Can anyone tell me if there is any particular significance to that evening.
