Out of Order Seder 2013

Experience Jewish tradition through a hip hop lens—join us for the fourth annual Out of Order Seder! Inspired by the exhibition Kehinde Wiley, The World Stage: Israel, the Out of Order Seder will meld contemporary themes with Jewish tradition through a hip hop lens performed by the exceptional talents Dan Wolf, Tommy Shepherd, Juan Amador, and Candice Wicks. Created in partnership with Ari Y. Kelman. This is not a seder—it is an evening of performance, food and drinks*, art, conversation, connections.
The Out of Order Seder is the centerpiece event of the Museum’s Contemporaries Membership program, a distinguished group of Bay Area young professionals and art enthusiasts. This event has become a sought-after ticket for an elegant evening with gourmet food and an engaging artistic performance. Tickets are limited.
Saturday, Mar 30, 7–11pm
Individual tickets $125 ($100 for Contemporaries Members). Sponsorship levels begin at $500 and include Individual Contemporaries Memberships
For more information or to rsvp: contemporaries@thecjm.org or 415.655.7824 during Museum hours.

* Kosher l’Pesach style means nothing in the Hametz category will be served, but the food is not hekshered or overseen by a Rabbi. Work of Art Catering will be creating the food.
