West Marin Faith based organizations come together to in community to celebrate Thanksgiving.
This gathering is one of the highlights of the year when we get together with our neighbors from St. Cecilia and St. Rita Catholic parishes, San Geronimo Community Prebyterian Church and Wakan to offer our thanks and appreciation for our diversity and the community in which we live. It is a rich musical hour-long service with offerings from each of our tradtions folowed by refreshments provided by Gan HaLev. It is a time to meet with our friends and neighbors, to develop interfaith understanding and express the values that we share. The event is also a fund-raisier for the Community Center's Emergency Food Pantry. Everyone is invited whether or not they are members of the congregations who are offering the service.
We are delighted that once again Rabbi Elisheva Salamo will be leading Gan HaLev's portion of this year's service. Our children will have a major role.
