Parents, Children and Interfaith Relationships: Listening so they will talk. Talking so they will listen. 4 week class being taught at Gratz College in Elkins Park, PA by IFF/Philadelphia Director Rabbi Robyn Frisch. The class begins Oct. 28 & is being offered both Tuesday afternoons & Tuesday evenings.
A great way for Jewish professionals and volunteers who work with and provide programming for people in interfaith relationships to locate resources and trainings to build more welcome into their Jewish communities; connect with and learn from each other; and publicize and enhance their programs and services.
The New England Aquarium visits the JCC Early Learning Center, Acton on Sunday, February 12 from 2-3:30pm. Located at Congregation Beth Elohim at 133 Prospect Street, this event is geared for families with children ages 1+ years. Even though it's cold outside, enjoy a taste of summer in Acton at the JCC Early Learning Center. Children will discover tidepool animals and learn about their body parts, mimic their behavior and even dress up in a sea star costume. They will get the opportunity to touch and hold the live animals. Parents will have the opportunity to tour the classrooms. The JCC Early Learning Center accepts children ages 15 months-5 years and offers a flexible schedule including full day and part day programs with full week and part week options.
