Connecting Interfaith Families to Jewish Life in Greater Cleveland by providing programs and opportunities for interfaith families to experience Judaism in a variety of venues, meet other interfaith families, and to connect to other Jewish organizations that may serve their needs.
A great way for Jewish professionals and volunteers who work with and provide programming for people in interfaith relationships to locate resources and trainings to build more welcome into their Jewish communities; connect with and learn from each other; and publicize and enhance their programs and services.
Spend summer 2012 with Or Tzedek (Hebrew for Light of Justice), an unforgettable social justice program over the summer for teens with all different backgrounds including those from interfaith homes to learn about advocacy from a Jewish perspective. Meet Chicagoland teens and engage in eight intensive, incredible days of building friendships, exploring Jewish approaches to justice, and developing as a leader. Create change in Chicago’s diverse communities with leaders on the forefront of activism and organizing.
The program is an 8-day summer urban immersion program for high school students (participants much have completed Grade 9).
