Connecting Interfaith Families to Jewish Life in Greater Cleveland by providing programs and opportunities for interfaith families to experience Judaism in a variety of venues, meet other interfaith families, and to connect to other Jewish organizations that may serve their needs.
A great way for Jewish professionals and volunteers who work with and provide programming for people in interfaith relationships to locate resources and trainings to build more welcome into their Jewish communities; connect with and learn from each other; and publicize and enhance their programs and services.
Teenage girls in grades 7 and 8 will discuss body image, nutrition, fitness and fashion while building self confidence and self esteem in an eight-week program called TY! True You. The program will be held at the Leventhal-Sidman Jewish Community Center in Newton on Wednesdays from 5-6pm beginning September 19.
TY! True You will be lead by nutritionist Jen Tuttelman, licensed social worker Katy Colthart, nurse practitioner Kaitie Lenahan, and fashion consultant Tracilee Messina, who will create a fun, relaxed and supportive atmosphere to discuss these important teenage issues.
