Description Every Sunday and select school holidays from 1–3pm, families can experience a new adventure in art-making free with admission to the Contemporary Jewish Museum. As always, the hands-on fun inspires children to learn more about the exhibitions on display in the galleries, the building’s architecture, or holidays and traditions while experimenting with materials and art techniques. Sundays, November 4 & 11 and Monday, November 12 (Veterans’ Day), 2012: Photographic Creations Have fun with photos while exploring black and white creations. Inspired by the exhibition The Radical Camera: New York’s Photo League, 1936–1951, explore the choices photographers make by selecting your favorite detail from an urban photo and transforming it into your own artwork using a variety of fine art materials.
