Bring your imagination and playful spirit to a Purim party. This holiday celebration of the legendary Queen Esther’s and Mordechai’s success over their foe, Haman, shows the optimism to pursue happiness, despite problems that come along. There will be singing, crafts, games and holiday refreshments such as the pastry hamantashen. We’ll create costumes and take parts in telling the megillah, the mythical story of big heroes and little villains who save the Jews from harm in ancient Persia. Guests are very welcome, and an RSVP is appreciated to Madrikha Beverly at 858-549-3088 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
