Parents, Children and Interfaith Relationships: Listening so they will talk. Talking so they will listen. 4 week class being taught at Gratz College in Elkins Park, PA by IFF/Philadelphia Director Rabbi Robyn Frisch. The class begins Oct. 28 & is being offered both Tuesday afternoons & Tuesday evenings.
A great way for Jewish professionals and volunteers who work with and provide programming for people in interfaith relationships to locate resources and trainings to build more welcome into their Jewish communities; connect with and learn from each other; and publicize and enhance their programs and services.
Yours, Mine & Ours enables both partners to focus on what they value most from their faith and family backgrounds. YMO creates a foundation for each partner to understand what they need for themselves and how to best meet their partner’s needs. In a supportive group setting, interfaith couples can share mutual concerns about celebrating holidays, life cycle rituals and enhance their ability to discuss the choice of a religious identity for their children.
All interfaith couples, whether they are dating, engaged, married or new parents will find this program beneficial for resolving complex issues and providing tools for a successful relationship.
Yours, Mine & Ours is $150/couple.
Advance registration is required to confirm your space.
