Connecting Interfaith Families to Jewish Life in Greater Cleveland by providing programs and opportunities for interfaith families to experience Judaism in a variety of venues, meet other interfaith families, and to connect to other Jewish organizations that may serve their needs.
A great way for Jewish professionals and volunteers who work with and provide programming for people in interfaith relationships to locate resources and trainings to build more welcome into their Jewish communities; connect with and learn from each other; and publicize and enhance their programs and services.
Learn to see and interpret the world around you in paint in a nine-week oil painting class at the Leventhal-Sidman Jewish Community Center (333 Nahanton Street) in Newton. Artist David Wells Roth will help you explore fundamental techniques of painting and utilizing color. Emphasis will be on understanding the use of light, value and form while developing drawing skills as a framework. Still life, photos and art of the masters will provide sources for projects. Class meets on Thursdays from 7-9pm beginning April 4. Cost is $320. Open to all. Interfaith families/individuals welcome.
