Description Are you or someone you know looking for a synagogue home? Please consider spending a morning with us here at Emanuel! Bring your family, friends, and neighbors to check out . . . . The Emanuel Congregation Religious School Open House Sunday, May 5, 9:30 to 11:30 am Emanuel is a vibrant, growing congregation located along Chicago's lakefront. What makes Emanuel so unique is its dedication to Jewish worship, learning, and community by its diverse membership. Emanuelites include: new families, families who have been members for several generations, single adults, young adults, senior citizens, same-sex couples, interfaith and interracial couples, and those who have more recently identified with the Jewish people. This event is for all members of the Chicagoland Jewish Community who would like to know more about Emanuel Congregation and our Religious School in particular. Our open house offers a great opportunity to experience Emanuel's Religious School program and become acquainted with our community. Attendees will have the opportunity to: Join the Emanuel Congregation Religious School community for morning services at 9:30 with Director of Education Alison Lewin and Music Director Ruthie Seidner. Participate in a family learning experience and art project. Stay to have a nosh and meet some of our Religious School parents. Please contact Alison Lewin ( or 773-561-5173) to reserve your spot or with any questions. I will provide you with additional information, including special parking arrangements we are making for our guests. There is no cost to attend, but a reservation is required no later than April 29th.
