Parents, Children and Interfaith Relationships: Listening so they will talk. Talking so they will listen. 4 week class being taught at Gratz College in Elkins Park, PA by IFF/Philadelphia Director Rabbi Robyn Frisch. The class begins Oct. 28 & is being offered both Tuesday afternoons & Tuesday evenings.
A great way for Jewish professionals and volunteers who work with and provide programming for people in interfaith relationships to locate resources and trainings to build more welcome into their Jewish communities; connect with and learn from each other; and publicize and enhance their programs and services.
Join the JCC East Bay for our annual Hanukah Festival of Light for art, food, fun and entertainment. We cannot wait to bring back favorite holiday acts including storytelling by Muriel Johnson at 4:00pm, and the music of Isaac Zones at 5:00pm.
Traditional Hanukah food will be available including latkes and jelly doughnuts. Arts and Crafts activities this year will include DIY menorah-making, candle making, holiday gift projects and card making. Fair Trade Judaica will have beautiful menorahs, Hanukah candles, gelt, and small gifts made by fair trade artisans and farmers available for purchase.
