A great way for Jewish professionals and volunteers who work with and provide programming for people in interfaith relationships to locate resources and trainings to build more welcome into their Jewish communities; connect with and learn from each other; and publicize and enhance their programs and services.
Children ages 3-5 years old will learn basic body awareness, balancing and tumbling in a nine-week karate class at the Leventhal-Sidman Jewish Community Center (333 Nahanton Street) in Newton. Classes are offered on Sundays, January 12-March 23 from 3-3:45pm. Participants will also be introduced to social skills and learn about basic Japanese/Asian culture. Cost is $215.
