Our updated booklet, Weddings For The Interfaith Couple, walks you through all of the traditions for the big day, starting with two to think about in advance (choosing a wedding contract known as a ketubah and topics to consider when meeting with your wedding officiant).
Rabbi Mychal will be leading us in a discussion of interfaith relationships throughout Jewish history and the present challenges and opportunities they pose. This discussion will provide a foundation for the second part of the series in which we will explore the many realities of interfaith relationships, including challenges we have faced and our varied approaches to our own interfaith experiences.
A great way for Jewish professionals and volunteers who work with and provide programming for people in interfaith relationships to locate resources and trainings to build more welcome into their Jewish communities; connect with and learn from each other; and publicize and enhance their programs and services.
Imagine WALKing along Martin Luther King Drive with your friends, family, and neighbors with one common goal: WALKing Against Hate.
Join us, RAIN OR SHINE, for our fourth 5K WALK Against Hate on Sunday, May 18, 2014! Take part in a one of a kind initiative in which people from various backgrounds are united to stand together to embrace diversity!
This is an opportunity for both youth and adults to make strides against bigotry and hatred in their communities.
The WALK is kid-friendly and will feature activities to keep everyone entertained!
The registration fee for the WALK is $10 for adults and $5 for youths.
Funds raised through the WALK Against Hate will be used to support ADL's mission and the research and development of programming such as No Place For Hate®, the A WORLD OF DIFFERENCE® Institute, and the Bearing Witness™ Program.
