Connecting Interfaith Families to Jewish Life in Greater Cleveland by providing programs and opportunities for interfaith families to experience Judaism in a variety of venues, meet other interfaith families, and to connect to other Jewish organizations that may serve their needs.
A great way for Jewish professionals and volunteers who work with and provide programming for people in interfaith relationships to locate resources and trainings to build more welcome into their Jewish communities; connect with and learn from each other; and publicize and enhance their programs and services.
The JCC Early Learning Center at Congregation Sha’aray Shalom in Hingham will hold open houses for parents of toddlers and preschool age children on Sunday, October 23 and Sunday, November 6 both held from 9:30-11:30am. Parents can meet the teachers, meet the school’s director, tour the classrooms and register for the Fall 2012 school year. The school accepts children ages 15 months to 5 years old and has an enrollment that includes children from the neighboring communities of Hanover, Norwell, Scituate, Pembroke and Rockland. The school, which is one of six in the Boston area operated by the Jewish Community Centers of Greater Boston, offers a part day program with full and part week options. Early drop-off and extended day options available. Summer program also offered. The JCC Early Learning Center is located at 1112 Main Street at Congregation Sha’aray Shalom and is open to the entire community.
