We are very excited to have you all participating in our first Chicago-based, online workshop version of Love and Religion. We hope you get a lot out of the experience and we look forward to getting your feedback at the end.
Below is the information you will need to log in and join each week (Feb. 1, Feb. 8, and Feb. 15). Please note that the Feb. 22 session will be taking place in person with more information to follow.
PRE-WORKSHOP
Before the workshop starts on Wednesday, you should all receive an invitation from me to join the private group we’ve created specifically for this session on the InterfaithFamily.com Network. If you do not get this by Monday or have any problems logging into it, please let me know.
Once you have joined the group, please introduce yourselves on the private online discussion board on this. Also, please feel free to read through some of the recommended bookmarks that have been set up.
SETTING UP YOUR COMPUTER
We will be using software called MegaMeeting to run the video conference portion of the workshop. You will need to setup the software prior to the course starting. It should take no more than 10 minutes to install and test.
To get to the setup wizard visit the setup wizard and follow the setup directions on the screen.
If you have any problems getting this to work, please let me know.
NIGHTS OF WORKSHOP
The class will open at 7:15pm CST for you to log in:
1. Making sure you are in front of the computer that you set up with the MegaMeeting software.

They may pop in from time to time to check to make sure things are running smoothly. You won’t see or hear from them, but you may see them show up on the participant list.
If you have any problems, questions or need assistance, please feel free to email me arim@interfaithfamily.com or if for some reason you cannot reach me, contact Heather Martin heatherm@interfaithfamily.com or call her cell 617-921-5135.
Please also take a minute to fill out our registration questions. We need this filled out by each individual person participating in the workshop.
We are looking forward to an exciting workshop.
