- Our eclectic, friendly, and caring community welcomes everyone, no matter their lifestyle preference or social background. In our congregational family people participate according to their own needs, whether it is for socializing and friendship, education or worship. Each person experiences that special sense of community that is found in our Reconstructionist synagogue. We see our synagogue community as a place where we enrich our lives, humanly and Jewishly; a place to find warmth, inspiration, and camaraderie; a place to live our heritage; a place of deep involvement, participation, and commitment; a place of extensive study and learning; a place of prayer; a place of emotional, spiritual, and intellectual stimulation; a place of intense musical expression; a place of humanity and community. It is a place where Judaism and you have the opportunity to intertwine in so many and varied ways. These include Israel, art, education, sports, study, music, social awareness and action, entertainment, Shabbat and holidays, travel, and more. It is a place from which to carry all this into our daily lives. We are committed to creating exciting and meaningful contemporary expressions of our dynamic, ancient, yet ever changing, heritage.
