JCYS Henry Horner serves children in Kindergarten – 8th Grade. It is located on 180 wooded acres on the shores of Wooster Lake,. in Ingleside, IL Camp Henry Horner is an outdoor day and overnight camp that features lake excursions, a ropes course and zip line, sports fields, arts and crafts, music, dance, drama, cooking, outdoor education and an outdoor heated pool! Over 100 summers of fun have gone by since Camp Henry Horner first started, but each year is always better than the last! From one-week to eight-week camp experiences and Day Camp versus Overnight Camp options, our fantastic location on Lake Wooster has a plethora of opportunities to offer each camper, including: a high-ropes course and zipline, lake activities and pool fun, sports galore, arts & crafts, campfires – and friendships that last a lifetime. Day Camp: Utilizing Camp Henry Horner’s vast and diverse 180 acres on Wooster Lake, our summer day camp programs offer personalized adventures for kids going into Kindergarten through 8th Grade. Overnight Camp: At Camp Henry Horner, we create an exciting, safe environment for kids to have an unforgettable summer of fun. And while they’re taking part in unique experiences and adventures, they’re also building self-esteem, developing interpersonal skills and making lasting friendships and memories.
