Temple Shalom Nursery is committed to creating a warm, caring Jewish environment that is welcoming to the child and the family. The school welcomes interfaith families and believes that building a partnership with parents is an important part of creating a positive school experience for the child. Therefore parents are always welcome to join in the classrooms for Jewish Holidays and Celebrations. Additionally, parents are supplied with information packets for all Jewish holidays in addition to the weekly newsletters.
The curriculum provides theme-oriented developmentally appropriate learning experiences that support the social, emotional, physical and cognitive growth of each child. Through circle time free play, snack time and time on the playground, children are encouraged to take turns, develop their cognitive skills, express their ideas and experiment.
