BJEP (Boston-area Jewish Education Program, previously called Brandeis Jewish Education Program) is an independent parent cooperative Sunday school serving children in grades one through seven. Classes meet on Sunday mornings from 9:30 AM to 12 Noon on the campus of Brandeis University. BJEP families come from communities throughout greater Boston. The school endeavors to provide a warm, nurturing, creative, and non-competitive atmosphere where each child is valued and encouraged to learn. BJEP teachers are made up primarily of Brandeis undergraduates who are already active participants in Jewish life on campus. BJEP welcomes all families interested in providing the basics of a positive Jewish identity for their children. We especially welcome interfaith families and families without a synagogue affiliation.
