A great way for Jewish professionals and volunteers who work with and provide programming for people in interfaith relationships to locate resources and trainings to build more welcome into their Jewish communities; connect with and learn from each other; and publicize and enhance their programs and services.
Camp Alonim is a program of The Brandeis-Bardin Institute, a nationally recognized retreat center for Jewish learning and culture. Located just outside of Los Angeles, Camp Alonim is a non-profit, post-demoninational, residential Jewish summer camp for children ages 7-17. Welcoming Jews of all backgrounds and affiliations, Camp Alonim is a dynamic Jewish experience that fosters strong Jewish identity through sports, nature, the arts, and learning. We use our 3,000 acres to engender a love of the outdoors, promote environmentalism, build a connection to Israel, and to instill the Jewish value of Tikkun Olam (repairing the world).
Your camper is the most important thing to us! Both our program and our staff work hard to build self-esteem and independence by creating an atmoshpere where children can learn new skills and make lasting friendships.
