A great way for Jewish professionals and volunteers who work with and provide programming for people in interfaith relationships to locate resources and trainings to build more welcome into their Jewish communities; connect with and learn from each other; and publicize and enhance their programs and services.
A Reconstructionist synagogue whose stated values include inclusion and participation. Non-Jewish family members are encouraged to participate in the community to whatever degree they are comfortable. Ritual policy explicitly affirms participation by non-Jews and provides meaningful ways for interfaith families to include the non-Jewish side in worship and life events. Twenty percent of member households are interfaith couples/families. Our Interfaith Havurah meets monthly for discussion and socializing.
