About Us:

Congregation Beth Israel Judea is a warm and vibrant synagogue offering an excellent educational program in state-of-the-art facilities, a unique blend of traditional and contemporary worship services, and a wide range of programs. Our temple is large enough to provide a full array of classes, interest groups and social activities, yet small enough to know almost everyone by name.

The members of Beth Israel Judea (BIJ) are a diverse, haimash group of people who welcome everyone, including interfaith families, singles and single parents. We open our arms to anyone regardless of age, marital status or sexual orientation, believing that you will find a comfortable place in our community.

We host or co-sponsor outreach programs with the Interfaith Connection (of the San Francisco JCC) and/or Building Jewish Bridges (of the Jewish Federation of the Greater East Bay).
