Rabbi Mychal will be leading us in a discussion of interfaith relationships throughout Jewish history and the present challenges and opportunities they pose. This discussion will provide a foundation for the second part of the series in which we will explore the many realities of interfaith relationships, including challenges we have faced and our varied approaches to our own interfaith experiences.
A great way for Jewish professionals and volunteers who work with and provide programming for people in interfaith relationships to locate resources and trainings to build more welcome into their Jewish communities; connect with and learn from each other; and publicize and enhance their programs and services.
We welcome you to the adventure of Congregation Kol Am, the Voice of the People. Established in 2002, we are an inclusive congregation that looks to the energy, talents, and creativity of all her members. Whether in ritual, study, social action, administration, religious school, youth activities, or camaraderie, we look to the participation of all our members in our vision to establish a meaningful religious home. Steeped in the tradition of Reform Judaism, we strive to foster a sense of belonging.
We seek to create Jewish "memories" that will span the generations. To achieve this goal, we are committed to the creation of a literate Jewish community, spiritually grounded, and committed to learning, worship, community and social action. Without your active support and participation, these goals are merely words, but with a community of common spirit and vision, we can make these ideals live as realities
