A great way for Jewish professionals and volunteers who work with and provide programming for people in interfaith relationships to locate resources and trainings to build more welcome into their Jewish communities; connect with and learn from each other; and publicize and enhance their programs and services.
The JCC of Greater Washington provides a welcoming, non-judgmental environment for interfaith couples to find resources and to better understand the issues specific to interfaith relationships. Monthly offerings occur September through May. Programs are offered for married or seriously involved couples, couples with and without children, and extended family members. Programs include basic to advanced Judaism classes, discussion groups, and holiday activities. All classes are oriented toward enhancing relationships while learning new and traditional perspectives on living a Jewish life. Workshops are facilitated by an array of accomplished teachers, rabbis, and counselors. Our peer discussion group, Circle of Friends meets monthly.
