| About Us |
The Jewish Community Centers of Greater Boston offers a wide variety of services at locations throughout our service area. We encourage individuals and families of all ages and abilities to participate, and strive to provide a welcoming environment that celebrates the diversity of our community in family constellation, sexual preference, ethnic/racial heritage, and religious/spiritual practice.
JCCGB’s six highly regarded Early Learning Centers create a vibrant, engaging, educational environment based on Derekh Eretz, a Hebrew term for a code of behavior where everyone is treated with respect. Day, overnight and specialty (arts and sports) camps are pathways for children to build Jewish identity and make lifelong friends. In addition, JCCGB hosts, in cooperation with partner agencies in the community, family-friendly holiday programs featuring music, storytelling and the arts to introduce children and parents to Jewish life and practices. Welcome Baby!, a program in MetroWest and the South Area, uses home visits and a beautiful basket filled with baby gifts to create a first step in connecting young families to the Jewish community and Jewish resources in the area. The JCC also offer enrichment classes for parent & child duets and for preschool age children, including children with special needs; parenting book groups and programs; new moms groups; groups for parents of children with special needs; playground meetups; and many opportunities to make connections with other parents. For more information, please visit www.jccgb.org or call 617-558-6440.
