Summer JAM (Judaism, Activism, Mitzvah Work):
June 25-July 22, 2007, www.dcjam.org. Come to Washington, DC and participate in a one-of-a-kind program on the campus of The George Washington University. Change the way you think about the world, Judaism and yourself, while forming a dynamic, pluralistic Jewish community, with participants from across the spectrum of denominations including those from interfaith families. Participants will engage in 42 hours of hands-on service projects, explore the connection between Judaism and advocacy, and learn about key issues impacting the U.S. and the world through interactions with leading U.S. policymakers. The program is open to rising high school juniors, rising seniors and graduating seniors.
