Rabbi Mychal will be leading us in a discussion of interfaith relationships throughout Jewish history and the present challenges and opportunities they pose. This discussion will provide a foundation for the second part of the series in which we will explore the many realities of interfaith relationships, including challenges we have faced and our varied approaches to our own interfaith experiences.
A great way for Jewish professionals and volunteers who work with and provide programming for people in interfaith relationships to locate resources and trainings to build more welcome into their Jewish communities; connect with and learn from each other; and publicize and enhance their programs and services.
We provide an example of the beauty of Judaism to our community and a source of comfort and faith to our membership.
Temple Beth Shalom operates under the intents and guidance of its founding members. It was their vision that the Holbrook Jewish Community Center, which came to be known as Temple Beth Shalom, be a beacon of light for learning and prayer serving a religiously diverse and interfaith membership throughout the Massachusetts south shore.
It is our goal and mission to never turn away a person in need of spiritual guidance through prayer regardless of their means. We will rely on the generosity and wisdom of our Temple membership to remain viable.
Temple Beth Shalom promises to comfort the sick and grieving, teach the young, and provide spiritual and religious guidance to all that cross our threshold.
