B'nai Or Boston is a lively Jewish renewal community open to all. Women and men are fully involved in every aspect, and the B’nai Or community embraces a wide diversity of lifestyles and family configurations. Many who wish to return to -- or discover -- their spiritual roots find us to be a comfortable place for exploration and inspiration. The B'nai Or community supports inclusion of all those seeking Jewish connection within an intellectually-stimulating and spiritual environment filled with music, prayer, meditation, and even dancing.
Services are led by members of the community and Rabbi Lev Baesh, who joined B'nai Or in July 2009. Along with his rabbinic work, Lev is the Director of the Resource Center for Jewish Clergy at InterfaithFamily.com. Lev also teaches Introduction to Judaism courses for the Outreach Division of the Reform movement, and works with many Jewish non-profits in the US and abroad.
