Join us for programs that will lead you farther down the path of discovery and gain a deeper understanding of your personal connection to Judaism, as well as an appreciation for Judaism’s sage perceptions about the human condition. Hebrew College’s Adult Learning Group offers four key programs in conjunction with Combined Jewish Philanthropies: Me’ah This two-year intensive adult Jewish learning program immerses you in reading core Jewish texts, grappling with concepts representing the historical, cultural and political movements from four eras—biblical, rabbinic, medieval and modern. Parenting Through a Jewish Lens (Ikkarim) This 10-week journey enables parents of all backgrounds to apply timeless values (ikkarim) to today’s child-rearing questions. Eser: Young Adult Learning Series Each year, Eser will offer a different “Top Ten” theme to be explained during a multi-week learning series that features stimulating small group discussions and inspiring events. Parenting Your Jewish Teen This eight-session program empowers parents of teens to embrace their changing roles, navigate murky waters and enjoy their adolescents’ journey to adulthood. Guided by a skilled facilitator, participants will engage in thoughtful discussion, and gain practical insights from ancient and contemporary Jewish sources.
