Hebrew Collegeâ€™s Adult Learning Group offers four key programs in conjunction with Combined Jewish Philanthropies: Meâ€™ah This two-year intensive adult Jewish learning program immerses you in reading core Jewish texts, grappling with concepts representing the historical, cultural and political movements from four erasâ€”biblical, rabbinic, medieval and modern. Parenting Through a Jewish Lens (Ikkarim) This 10-week journey enables parents of all backgrounds to apply timeless values (ikkarim) to todayâ€™s child-rearing questions. Eser: Young Adult Learning Series Each year, Eser will offer a different â€śTop Tenâ€ť theme to be explained during a multi-week learning series that features stimulating small group discussions and inspiring events. Parenting Your Jewish Teen This eight-session program empowers parents of teens to embrace their changing roles, navigate murky waters and enjoy their adolescentsâ€™ journey to adulthood. Guided by a skilled facilitator, participants will engage in thoughtful discussion, and gain practical insights from ancient and contemporary Jewish sources.
