An independent voice for Jewish-Christian families since 1987, the Interfaith Community has carved out new ways to meet the real needs of today's religiously mixed families.
Interfaith Community programs are offered through its founding New York City chapter, as well as in a growing network of chapters in New York - Westchester, Orange/Rockland, Long Island - and in Denver, Colorado.
Led by the energy and vision of its members, the Interfaith Community encourages the celebration of the richness and distinctiveness of both Judaism and Christianity. Through religious services and educational programs for both children and adults, it supports individuals as they pursue their own journeys, at their own level of involvement. It is not a new amalgam of both traditions, nor does it discourage formal affiliation with a church or synagogue; rather, it is a neutral and affirming place for interfaith families to connect.
