A great way for Jewish professionals and volunteers who work with and provide programming for people in interfaith relationships to locate resources and trainings to build more welcome into their Jewish communities; connect with and learn from each other; and publicize and enhance their programs and services.
The Hillel Foundation at OU is a pluralistic home for Jewish students from all backgrounds, as well as for non-Jewish students interested in learning about Judaism and supporting the campus Jewish community. Our goal is to provide a warm and nurturing atmosphere for Jewish exploration, celebration and growth for undergraduates and graduate students, as well as faculty and staff from the University. Our programming is based on a model of student leadership, and the tone of the institution is set by the Hillel Jewish Student Organization officers. We want Jewish students to be able to express themselves Jewishly in whatever way they feel comfortable! We offer Jewish resources and programming of all kinds, as well as a full array of holiday celebrations and commemorations.
OU Hillel is more than just a religious organization for students. While Judaism is our main focus for programming, we offer much more than just spiritual guidance. Our mission statement is to enrich the lives of Jewish undergraduate and graduate students so that they may enrich the Jewish people and the world; through religion , academic, and cultural opportunities and programs.
