LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) couples and families may find their experiences reflected in the articles and resources throughout this website, but being LGBT and interfaith can hold both special joys and unique challenges. For some, in addition to having to tell parents that a partner is of a different faith, the experience is coupled with coming out. For others, the task of finding Jewish community spaces is complicated by the need for places that are both safe and welcoming of LGBT couples and their families, and of interfaith families. For still others, LGBT Jewish life is a rich source of inspiration and community. We hope the resources here are helpful, reflect the voices of LGBT people and foster a spirit of inclusion.
