This is What Interfaith Sounds Like

November 14, 2011

On a recent Friday night, I recorded some of the sounds, songs and screams from the Singing Shabbat gathering that my wife Anique, who is Catholic, and I attended along with a number of other interfaith families.

The recordings were for an audio essay on being an interfaith family. It is a model for the audio essay project I am assigning my college students.

Editor's note: If viewed on Youtube, an interactive transcript of the audio essay is available. Go to the video's page and click on the "interactive transcript" button below the video.
