Dear Jennifer: congrats on your master's program!

I hope eventually you will get to see the good side of the Christian part of your heritage as well as the 'contagious' parts, LOL.

It is a very rich spirituality.

I'm the child of an intermarriage who was raised Christian, and my parents suppressed all mention of Judaism in the home.

I'm now a rabbinic student and lead the Half-Jewish Network.

I know that our respective parents thought that they were doing the right thing, but I would suggest that children being raised in one faith do need to know some positive things about their other half, or they develop ideas that the other "half" is bad or contagious.

Cordially,
Robin Margolis
