Hello,
My partner converted to Judaism in the last couple of years. Her daughter is now 11 years old. Since her daughter was born before she converted, is she considered Jewish or not?
Thank you!

The answer depends on the branch of Judaism.  Orthodox and Conservative would answer 'no', the child was born before the mother converted.  Reform would answer 'yes', if the child is raised Jewish.
