What a well written article. We are also an interfaith family sending our children to a Jewish day school, and we have found that nearly all of our negative assumptions about Jewish day schools have not been true.

The school is very diverse, with students from many countries, religious backgrounds, and races, the academics are exceptional, and most of all, our children are happy and enjoying their education. We've also found that several children in each of the classes are from interfaith families.

I'd bet if more interfaith families looked into this option, they'd be very pleasantly surprised at what a nice fit a Jewish day school can be for their own family.
