Unless I missed something in the article about Lisa Jackson Pulver, she's not an "interfaith celebrity" as this article implies. She is an convert to Orthodox Judaism. Any convert I've ever met thinks of themselves as Jewish - period.

Nate Bloom responds: I understand your point and, of course, she is not "an interfaith celebrity" or famous person, "having converted to Judaism. But I have taken a bit more expansive view of the column and have included, now and again, a famous person who was formerly not Jewish and has chosen to convert to Judaism. When she began dating her future husband, she was not Jewish and they were an interfaith couple. Most of the other famous people who I have covered, who are converts to Judaism, have likewise began as one half of an interfaith couple. I hope I have explained my reasoning, but I understand your point completely. Thank you for the feedback.
