I have a Jewish cousin who married an Indian Hindu woman.  They had a short Jewish wedding, then she went and changed into a beautiful red and gold sari with lots of gold bangles.  They both wore red and gold flower necklaces.  Her parents explained various parts of the Hindu ceremony as they walked through them.  It was lovely and welcoming to both sides of the family.  And they celebrate both Hanukkah and Diwali.
