I am looking for a sponsering rabbi who would help me with the conversion process in the Dallas area. I am soon moving to Grand Prairie, TX. I grew up in a interfaith household, with a muslim father and a catholic mother, in Germany. Neither could ever touch me. My mother started ancestor research a few years ago and we found out that a lot of family members, beginning with my great-grandmother were Jewish. I had encounters with Judaism time and time again, since i was a teenager. To make sure, i searched in various denominations of the christian faith first, because that's what i grew up with. Nothing could ever get me to believe in Jesus. I am married to a non Jew.
My desire to convert and live a jewish life is so strong, that it gives me sleepless nights. I am at a point where i need a rabbi to help me further my education. I don't know anybody who could help me, so i would be very greatful for any suggestions!
