Beautiful story. I, Jewish by upbringing, am preparing to marry my Hindu fiancee, so it was very encouraging to read such an uplifting and encouraging story of families and traditions coming together with joy. I hope your marriage is as great as your wedding!

Wish you guys best of luck in your married life and as being medical doctors. Your love story is giving me the courage to tell my family about my boyfriend who is Jewish and I've dated him for 8 years on-off b/c of cultural and religion differences. Maybe its time to really embrace the love of my life!

I am a Jewish man from NYC married to a Hindu woman originally from New Delhi. We have 3 children a daughter 20 and 2 boys 11 and 12. I came upon your story and thought it was just lovely. Best of luck to both of you. I hope you have a long and happy marriage like we have had.

amazing story indeed
truth of the matter is culturally we have many similarities with our Jewish counterparts
my fiance and I are currently reading and finding out more and more just how similar our wedding rituals are.
the only challenge we face is finding a Hindu priest to perform our ceremony
