Professional Development gathering

The goal of InterfaithFamily’s Professional Development offerings is to strengthen the network of Jewish leaders and institutions working with interfaith couples and families. We understand that different organizations are starting at different places and work within different parameters. Our professional development offerings are personalized to your organization’s needs and are intended to help you recognize and meet the needs of your interfaith constituents in your own way.

Whether you’re interested in a one-hour webinar on Language and Optics, resources to share with your staff or community, or if you want to dive deep with our year-long Interfaith Inclusion Leadership Initiative, we can help. Please let us know more about your needs.

Testimonials

“Yesterday was a thoughtful and deep conversation at B’Nai Israel which continued at our lunch table at home.  There is such a need for these dialogues!  Thank you again.”

–Janet Rae Jorgensen, B’Nai Israel Jewish Center

“I just wanted to take a quick moment to say thank you again for your work on our community.  Everyone …has mentioned that they really valued the opportunity to learn with you and appreciated the nuanced perspectives and insights you shared with us.”

-Nina Price, Jewish Federation of Greater Indianapolis

“The webinar was great…the women felt they learned quite a bit. And it sent a message that our synagogue is welcoming and open to interfaith families.”

– Rabbi Susan Elkodsi, Malverne Jewish Center

“Friends, thank you so much for this newsletter. I was very appreciative of the glossary. It made me mindful that, in the same way we can be most respectful of people who are non-binary in gender is by asking the pronouns they prefer, this communicates a similarly thoughtful and open-hearted approach. Awesome!”

-Rabbi Chava Bahle

“It was my privilege to spend time talking with you… I could view the future of Jewish Atlanta from the vantage point of your work. It is exciting, challenging and holy work that you do. You provided a relaxed environment for my questions and answered with a joy of teaching and love of Judaism.  I am sure I will have many more questions as we move through the Front Porch process. I appreciate your availability, your candor and the time your spent talking with me. Looking forward to our next encounter whether at the Front Porch or in our evolving community.”

– Deborah Jacobs, Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta: Front Door Initiative
